On Monday January 19th, Oger SARdogs was invited to give a guest lecture to grades 3 and 4 of De Pipegaal Primary School in Workum.

The children are exploring the theme of senses in class. We were able to incorporate this into the conversation by talking about a dog’s super sense, THE NOSE! We talked about searching for missing people and how well dogs can help us.

The children listened intently, and some great questions were asked. The children got to sniff jars and guess the scent inside.

And Quinta barked as she pointed out which flowerpot contained something hidden.

It was a fun afternoon where a younger generation was introduced to the

search and rescue work of Oger SARdogs.
